This blog is dedicated to explore the concept of intentionality, philosophy and theology, culture and religion and the correlation of religion to culture.

This blog is also associated with the company website of Joan Spencer & Associates. Joan Spencer & Associates is a fee for service counselling service in Hallam and Pakenham Victoria Australia (phone 61 3 9796 5965 or email at enquiries@jspencer.com. au)

As a consequence of this association I shall be commenting on counselling etc. especially as it relates to intentionality and marriage, relationships and mental health.

Joan Spencer is my wife. I support Joan Spencer & Associates as Company Secretary, bookkeeper. advertising and webmaster etc.

  1. Learning is not the accumulation of scraps of knowledge. It is a growth, where every act of knowledge develops the learner, thus making him capable of constituting ever more and more complex objectivities-and the object growth in complexity parallel the subjective growth in capacity,

  2. Welcome to the world of blogging!

I remember when I was a student doing formal courses the process of getting my "thoughts on paper" often clarified and expanded them.

I find that this is still the case in writing a blog post, but these days we can liven up the presentation with photographs and videos.

Like you I still think of myself as a student, but now I can decide for myself what I want to learn.

    cheers,

    Steve
